Long before they were movie stars, Motu and Patlu were beloved comic strip characters. They originated in the children's magazine , based on characters created by Kripa Shankar Bhardwaj in the 1960s. For decades, their simple yet hilarious adventures captivated young readers. This popularity eventually led to the creation of the Motu Patlu animated television series, which premiered on Nickelodeon India on October 16, 2012. The series, set in the charming fictional town of Furfuri Nagar, follows the slapstick escapades of the samosa-loving, rotund Motu and his slim, clever, and often exasperated friend Patlu. Their efforts to fix Motu's misadventures with the help of Dr. Jhatka's inventions formed the core of the show's comedy.
