Directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films, Kill Dil is a stylized homage to 1970s Bollywood "masala" cinema. The story follows two orphans, Dev (Ranveer Singh) and Tutu (Ali Zafar), who are raised by a local gangster, Bhaiyaji (Govinda), to become ruthless assassins. Their lives take a turn when Dev falls in love with Disha (Parineeti Chopra), a girl who helps rehabilitate criminals.
