: It serves as a central hub where other mods register their creature assets to ensure they are recognized by the game's animation systems.

: It allows sub-mods to instantly parse variables like "Arousal Levels," "Aggression Scaling," or "Procedural Physics Positioning" directly into non-humanoid skeletons. Architecture & Essential Requirements

: A new, centralized state management system that replaces the more fragmented approach of previous versions. It offers predictable data flow with built-in time-travel debugging.

| Integration | Purpose | |-------------|---------| | 0. Real-time physics | Limbs interact with terrain, water, and objects | | 0. Ecosystem simulation | Predator-prey cycles, plant regrowth, weather effects | | 0. Narrative memory | Creatures remember player actions across sessions |

The name "Créatúr" comes from an Irish word meaning "animal," "creature," or even "an unfortunate person". It was first announced in January 2013 by its developer, Amy de Buitléir, and has since been maintained as a library of modules for implementing complex artificial life species.
