Trailmakers is built on the Unity engine, making it highly modular and relatively friendly to the modding community. There are two primary ways mods are utilized in the game: 1. The Official Steam Workshop (Safe & Limited) Right-click Trailmakers in your Steam library
Do not download from random YouTube links or "free mod menu generator" sites. These are 99% viruses. The safest place is the official Trailmakers Discord (look for #modding or #community-creations channels) or trusted GitHub repositories.
