Hailing from the British Virgin Islands, Keidran Jones (known professionally as Iyaz) was discovered on MySpace by none other than Sean Kingston. It was the peak of the "YouTube Era" of music, where catchy hooks and relatable lyrics could turn an unknown artist into a global superstar overnight.

By the time Iyaz began work on his full-length album, the pressure was enormous. The title track and lead single, "Replay," had become one of the biggest songs of 2009 and early 2010, and the question on everyone's mind was whether the artist who called his own music "island pop" had enough gas in the tank to deliver a complete project.
