It is a general principle in Islam that those who frequently send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ will receive his intercession ( shafāʿah ) on the Last Day. Durood-e-Najat, by its very nature, strengthens the bond of love with the Prophet ﷺ, increasing the likelihood of his blessed intercession.
Scholars caution against Duroods whose wording is either unsound in meaning or which have been circulated with fabricated virtues and rewards. Such Duroods should be avoided altogether. In the case of Darood-e-Tanjeena, the wording is considered sound, and its recitation is permissible, particularly with the correct intention — seeking Allah's help through the wasilah (intercession) of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
