Company of Heroes 2 does not feature a true, old-school "offline" LAN button. The game relies on Steam and Relic's backend infrastructure for authentication and lobby creation.
Even years after its release, Relic continues to perform routine server maintenance (as recently as March 2026), reinforcing that the official multiplayer experience remains tied to their online ecosystem. Company of Heroes 2 gets 64Bit Support and on Game Pass!!!
