Click on the icon in the top right corner of the application window.
IPSW files are massive, often ranging from 5GB to over 8GB per file. If your primary C: drive is running out of storage space, you can easily change where 3uTools saves these files. Launch the application. Click the Gear Icon (Settings) in the top-right corner. Select Settings from the dropdown menu. Click on the Downloads tab on the left sidebar. Look for the Firmware Download Path section.
Press the on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box. Type %programdata% and hit Enter .
The official where all downloaded iOS firmware files are stored by default on Windows is the C:\3uTools-Firmware folder. Knowing this exact file directory allows you to manually manage massive iOS update packages, clear up critical hard drive space, and seamlessly transfer files between multiple computers.
