(凛音チュウニズム) is a portmanteau of two distinct philosophical and technical ideas. Rinnet (凛音) translates loosely from Japanese as “sovereign/cold tone” or “resonant dignity”—a sound so pure it commands silence. Chunithm is derived from the English neologism “chunithm” (a fusion of “chuni” (中二, or “second-year middle school syndrome”—delusions of grandeur) and “rhythm”).
